Flying is not the only way to travel. To many, it’s more accessible to travel by sea. You’d be surprised at the different islands you can get to via 2GO, SuperFerry, and Weesam ferry from Manila to Bacolod: The City of Smiles.
To ride the 2GO Manila to Bacolod ferry, you must board at the North Harbor Pier 4 in Tondo, Manila. It will take you at least 20 hours to arrive at Bredco Pier in Bacolod. This means that you’ll need to allot two full days for traveling if you’re booking a roundtrip ferry. A small consolation is that the Bredco seaport is situated in the heart of Bacolod where the restaurants, malls, and hotels are. This should make it faster for you to check in and explore the town!
