How to go to Café in the Sky
However, operations depend on the weather and the cafe opens early in the morning so it’s important to plan before heading here. If you don’t have a car, there are two options to go. First, you can take a taxi/jeepney from the city to Kabuyao (near Hotel Veniz) and hire an FX to take you to Café to the Sky. This is a costly option, though, and the FX fare (back and forth) ranges from Php 600 – To PHP 1000, depending on your negotiation with the driver. If you’re on a tight budget, you can choose not to ride an FX and just hike to the café for about an hour. The latter isn’t always recommended though, since there are DENR checkpoints along the way which do not allow hikers. They’re not there all the time, though, so it’s a matter of good timing.
The café opens as early as 6 a.m., but you can catch the sea of clouds even in the afternoon.
