Captivating Claveria!
Famous as home in the ” pristine beaches and waterfalls, Forest-Clad Sierras, and agricultural lands,” Claveria, Cagayan has now its own port!
It was after the inauguration of the Claveria Port yesterday, 3rd February 2020, which was expected to help have the efficient transport network required in the province.
This port development project is near the heart of the department of transportation (DOTR) Secretary Arthur Tugade Pipe Claveria. For The Secretary, it is a ‘fulfilled promise’ and a way of recognizing his roots.
Due to the efforts of DOTR and Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), the Claveria Port is expected to help the paglawig of socio-Tourism activities, complement the operation of neighboring Cagayan Port and Basco port in Batanes, and in strengthening Of economic development in the entire region of Cagayan Valley.
