Mines View Park is among the oldest and most famous attractions in Baguio City. Aside from the natural surroundings, it’s very popular among tourists because it features the mesmerizing Baguio view from the observation deck.

Mines View Park History
The park is named Mines View since it overlooks the spectacular Baguio view of the Cordillera mountains and Benguet’s gold and copper mines. The park dates back to American times, and it has stood the test of time.
Mines View Park Entrance Fee
Mines View Park’s entrance fee is free for all visitors, but some activities inside like the Ifugao costume rental come with a small fee.
There are food concessionaires and souvenir stores inside. The Baguio view is breathtaking, so a camera is a must. The park is usually crowded on weekends, so make sure to come early, or just do your best to capture a good photo.
After visiting the park, pasalubong stores await every passerby. Make sure to stop by the Good Shepherd’s convent which is conveniently located a few walks from the park. Hoard their famous ube jam for pasalubong!
Directions to Mines View Park, Baguio City
Ride the jeepney with the sign Baguio Plaza – Mines View and drop off at the last stop, near Good Shepherd’s Convent. Walk a few steps toward Mines View Park. You can also choose to ride a taxi cab from your point of destination.
