Under the BUILD BUILD BUILD Program of the Duterte administration, the Maritime Sector of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) is now ready to turn over to various local government units nationwide TWENTY-TWO (22) SOCIAL AND TOURISM PORT PROJECTS for the current year, which have been COMPLETED as of October 2019.
These locally-funded projects are as follows:

Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM):
• Polloc Port
These social/tourism port projects are intended to provide positive socio-economic and tourism impacts in their respective localities.
They were pursued to establish much-needed inter-island connectivity and mobility to hundreds of coastal and island communities in the country.
These social/tourism port projects are on top of the 173 commercial port projects which were also completed and facilitated by the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) in the last three years.
