How to Get to Treasure Mountain in Tanay, Rizal

      Via Private Car

The easiest and fastest way to get to the campsite is by your car. Just use Google Maps/Waze to get directions. You can rent a car, van, or bus here if you don’t have a private vehicle.

Once there, you can either park it up Treasure Mountain or leave your vehicle at the jump-off point. The slope going up might be too rough for sedans so it’s not advisable. At the jump-off point, you can either walk or hire a tricycle to take you to the top.

      Via Public Transportation

Ride a jeep bound for Cogeo Gate 2 or Padilla. Ask to be dropped off at Gate 2. From there, you’ll need to ride a jeep going to Sampaloc. This route is available from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM only. Get off at Sitio Maysawa or the tricycle terminal in Brgy. Cuyambay. Then, you can walk or hire a tricycle to get the rest of the way to Treasure Mountain.

Alternatively, you can ride a jeep going to the Tanay Public Market. At the market, ride a jeep bound for Cuyambay. You’ll get off at the same stop: Sitio Maysawa. Bear in mind that commuting to Treasure Mountain will definitely take more time due to the waiting, pick-ups, and drop-offs of jeeps.
