The LTFRB has allowed 980 UV Express vehicles and 47 routes to operate starting today, June 29, 2020. Available routes are not limited to the ones in Metro Manila. Routes to and from nearby provinces are permitted as well. More vehicles in the form of modern and traditional jeepneys may be added to meet passenger demand.

General Guidelines for UV Express
There are new guidelines to be followed by all UV Express franchises. All routes must be served from terminal to terminal only. No stops are allowed to pick up or drop off passengers. Vehicles should not pass through EDSA or Commonwealth except to cross. The fare rate will remain at 2 PHP per kilometer. All price adjustments will be announced by the LTFRB.
COVID-19 Safety Guidelines for UV Express
Safety guidelines should also be observed to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. Operators must regularly assess the drivers’ fitness by checking for their symptoms and body temperature. All drivers must wear masks and gloves at all times. Passengers must wear masks as well. No Face Mask, No Ride will be strictly implemented. The exact fare must be paid beforehand. Only 2 passengers must be seated in a single row. Barriers must be installed between passengers and drivers, as well as in between passenger seats.
Penalties for Violation of Guidelines
If any operators are caught violating new guidelines, they risk incurring fines. Or worse, franchises may be suspended or canceled. We have listed all available UV Express routes and their corresponding fares during GCQ below.
